SFLA’s hallmark is creating outdoor spaces for people to enjoy and engage with nature. Because they are usually part of the public realm, the design of Parks and Trails requires the fun and collaborative process that brings together client and stakeholders. Sleeves rolled up, SFLA prides itself in leading community meetings that ultimately inform the vision, or the big picture, for the project. We are often asked to develop Master Plans for public space to be used as a guide for prioritizing, phasing and fundraising. Giving the taskforce ownership in the design process from the kick-off meeting to final walkthrough will always guarantee a successful project.
