SFLA’s deep experience in this realm includes designs for outdoor spaces that commemorate people, places and/or events. Prime examples of these projects include the Iowa Firefighters Memorial, Albany Mounds Burial Site, the Literary Walk expansion Iowa City, Grant Wood Artist Colony Campus, the Hospice Memorial site on Willow Creek Trail and the Veterans Memorial sites at Camp Dodge and in Coralville, Iowa.
